I was honored to be a keynote speaker at the Sage Grouse Initiative conference in Boise, Idaho, with a crowd of over 170 people from many different organizations who work diligently for sage-grouse conservation and habitat restoration. My program was well received, and I felt privileged to speak on behalf of these amazing birds. I hope that my talk inspired them and rewarded their hard work. While their conservation methods may differ, their passion, dedication, and devotion to preserve these iconic birds and the fragile habitat bring them together to wok on a common goal. (Attended groups include National Resource Conservation Service, US Department of Agriculture, Bureau of Land Management, US. Fish & Wildlife Services, other state conservation agencies, and non-governmental organizations.)
